Send me a text!Length: 58 minutesSynopsis: This evening (4/27/22), in our aptly named "Chumash Exploration," we began a minor project within a major project. The major project is to understand the mitzvos related to Shavuos as presented by Torah she'bi'Chsav. We were going to start with Emor and Re'eh, where those mitzvos are stated, but we figured it would make sense to begin with the Torah's first presentation of the shalosh regalim, which occurs in Mishpatim and Ki Sisa. That is our minor project. Tonight we read through the pesukim, noted the similarities and differences, listed the mitzvos mentioned in each parashah, and took two initial steps in understanding what the shalosh regalim are based on these pesukim. Next time we hope to develop this into a full theory.----------The Torah content from now through Lag ba'Omer has been sponsored by Adam and Estee Goldberg in honor of Savta Shoshana Sham'eh bat Menachem.
