A Fresh Perspective: Jeff Reflects on His Trip to Kenya

from passion inspires · host Scott Allen Creative

Ep 3.  In this episode, Jeff shares the powerful story of Rev. Dr. Judy, who answered God’s calling to leave a life of wealth and comfort to serve the vulnerable in the Kibera slums. What began as a small act of compassion for four women in need, has now blossomed into Home Care Spiritual Fellowship, a ministry serving thousands through education, job training, and Bible Clubs. Jeff also shares the story of Samuel, a young man born with a disability and raised in poverty, who became the first in his family to graduate from high school through child sponsorship. Through stories of women learning dressmaking skills and children being fed and taught through Bible Clubs, Jeff reflects on how God is using these ministries to bring hope and healing.  Additionally, Jeff shares the awe-inspiring moments of his safari, which helped him reconnect with the wonder and joy of God's magnificent creation.  ✨ Highlights: The power of child sponsorship Dr. Judy’s faith-filled leadership and resilience The ripple effect of Bible Clubs and job training ministries The reminder of God’s beauty in both creation and people "A single tree, no matter how large, cannot make a forest... but together, we thrive."

NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next. So tune in Inside Out Countryside Mobility Stuck inside but want to get out? We'll bring a taste of the 'great outdoors' to you. Each episode is a patchwork landscape taking you to beauty spots, introducing to people with a passion for the natural world and more. Hosted by Neil Warren from the charity Living Options Devon, who helps run Countryside Mobility an initiative helping people to access the countryside.
