John and I have worked together for over 20 years and in that time he has been one of the most unique, consistent, and recognisable sports broadcasters on air – and he has also been central to the evolution of Off The Ball from a Newstalk Radio show into Ireland’s leading multi-platform sports media brand. Whenever myself and John get together for a coffee or a pint, we generally start chatting about sport, but very quickly find ourselves getting deep about so many other things like US politics, media, life, and beyond! And that’s what I think you’re going to hear in this episode – a great, wide-ranging chat between two old friends, one where I think you’ll hear a totally different side to the person you hear on national radio all the time.
