A friendship forged through tragedy

The mother of a woman who died in a San Diego County jail rallied last week for justice for her daughter, with the help of a local advocate. We hear about how the daughter's death led to change and a friendship. Then, the Measure A sales tax was passed by Chula Vista voters in 2018 to hire more than 100 public safety personnel, but now the city is using those tax revenues to buy more police cars and drones.
