A GENEROUS HEART

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7 "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Generosity is not just about how much we give—it's about the heart behind the giving. In this verse, Paul reminds the believers that giving should be intentional and joyful, not forced or guilt-driven. God delights in a heart that gives freely, not out of obligation but out of love. A generous heart reflects the nature of God, who gave us His very best—His Son, Jesus Christ. When we give cheerfully—whether it's our time, resources, or encouragement—we mirror His character and bring light into the lives of others. True generosity is not dependent on wealth. Even the smallest act, when done with love, has great value in the kingdom of God. A generous heart is sensitive to needs, quick to respond, and trusts God to provide all that is needed in return. Today, ask yourself: Am I giving out of joy or reluctance? How can I cultivate a more generous and cheerful heart in my daily life? Prayer: AlmightyFather, thank You for being the ultimate giver.
