A GOODMAN SAID GOODNIGHT

from Duane Thomas 2 · host Duane Thomas 2

This is a song I wrote for my very good friend from High School, Ron Aguilera. He died about 2 years ago, and this song came to me very fast. I have been slow in getting it recorded because it is hard to get through without crying and I have been very busy trying to finish and market my musical Leaves. He was a great friend and was there at Calvary Chapel when it was just a tent, the night I got saved. The bridge is pretty much taken from what he wrote in my yearbook, some 45 years ago. "Duane, We have been through a lot. A laugh, A cry, A song, A joyful noise. I wish you good things. Don't remember me, but remember the One who is my friend, My Lord." His love in my life will never be forgotten.
