A Gospel Centered Marriage

This last Sunday we had the privilege of hearing from Austin and Breanna Smith. They talked to us about how abiding and the gospel of Jesus relate to marriage & relationships. The world we find ourselves living in today seemingly runs on broken relationships. For too long the church has let the world’s narrative inform its view of marriage and relationships. But when we look to the Scriptures we find a robust view of what it means to be in relationship with Jesus and with people. Marriage should be a witness to the power of the gospel to transform lives. Kingdom relationships begin with abiding, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. Only from that place of abiding do we find the transformative power of the Holy Spirit at work in our relationships - bearing witness to the goodness of God & His desire to see humans flourish.
