A Gospel Culture Is Not Trigger Happy

Newsflash in case you don't watch cable news, scroll Twitter, or work near a water cooler: we live in a trigger happy culture. Folks on all sides of the political spectrum fire away at the slightest provocation. As Jesus' people, we are called to be a city ("polis") on a hill that models for all nations (including ours) a different way of relating to one another. As we arrive in the final chapter of the book of Hebrews, we hear this beautiful and definitive command of the Spirit: "Let brotherly love continue." Where do we find the resources to live this way together?
