A Great High Priest

On this Easter Sunday, Pastor Sam helps us to understand how much of a "big deal" sin is, and how helpless we are because we falter every day. He shows us from Genesis 3, how sin is consistently giving in to desirable and self-gratifying pleasures that keep us out of God's will for us, and we're consistently doing that every day. He also shows us that the deceit of sin is self-righteousness and that alone shows us how depraved we are. This shows us how unworthy to stand before the Holy One, Creator of heaven and earth. But we have a great High Priest, who is the eternal Lamb slain for our sins, Jesus Christ, and by Him, we can come to God because Jesus has taken away our sins. This is our great joy this Easter.
