A Group of Chefs is Called a Church

Spiritual dryness can make prayer feel empty and God seem far away. Jesus calls Himself the living bread because He gave Himself for the life of the world and keeps nourishing those who remain in Him. Gathering for worship is not passive consumption. Scripture, singing, and prayer speak Jesus into people's hearts; personal encouragement and practical care continue that shared meal.
