A guide to Ireland’s jellyfish

A kayaker has spotted a huge swarm of jellyfish off the coast of Waterford, near Helvick Head. His kayak was surrounded by thousands of the creatures, which he estimates reached “20 or 30 metres in every direction.” Why are there so many jellyfish? Joining Claire to tell us more was Ken O’Sullivan, Documentary Maker and Ocean Conservationist.
