A Guided Meditation

Welcome back to Artbeat Radio!      Has your week been filled with stress? You’re in the right place. Listen in to EPI’s meditation and soundscape. Service users created this relaxing experience that can be listened to time and time again and features the same beginning and end so you can listen on repeat. We invite you to join us in this experience! With the creation of this meditation episode service users were involved with its creation each step of the way. They were initially involved with the conception of the music. Service users were provided with different musical sounds and asked which they found to be most relaxing. Based on this, the music you hear in this meditation episode was composed. You can hear that service users often chose to make the lines of the script silly and playful! Additionally, many of the actions such as the stretches and deep breathing that happen in the meditation were selected by the service users for inclusion in the script. Finally, and perhaps most crucially the sounds effects you hear throughout the meditation were selected by the service users in order to make the meditation feel “more silly”. .
