A half slice of lemon

Today I had a picture of a lemon slice cut in half which caused me to think of how it can grace a plain glass of water. When two things, two people complement each other, they enhance the other. Dance partners and partners in relationships are to complement each other. What sort of relationship do we have with our bridegroom, Jesus? He is The Word (John 1:1, 14). Biblical Words can support our lives, making them richer and fuller. For instance, repeatedly reciting a verse can help us sleep. Jesus has given us the Holy Spirit to dwell in us who "will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you" (John 14:26). Jesus is blessed when we choose to openly acknowledge our unity with Him to others. (Matthew 10:13)
