A Heart That Devises Wicked Plans

A Heart That Devises Wicked Plans – When Imagination Turns Dark Kingdom Now with Dr. John Carmichael Most sins don’t start in public—they start in private. Before the lie is spoken… before betrayal unfolds… before harm is done… it was imagined. In this searching and Spirit-led episode, Dr. John Carmichael unpacks Proverbs 6 and exposes one of the most interior sins in Scripture: “a heart that devises wicked plans.” This message goes beyond behavior to the workshop of the heart—where imagination, intention, and mental rehearsal shape destiny. Drawing from Jesus’ teaching in Mark 7, Paul’s call to take every thought captive, and David’s cry for a clean heart, this episode reveals how corrupted imagination darkens reasoning, distorts desire, and quietly derails spiritual authority. But it also offers hope: the Holy Spirit does not merely convict—He renovates. Revival doesn’t begin at the altar first. It begins in the heart. If you’ve ever wrestled with hidden thought patterns, secret rehearsals, or interior battles no one else sees, this episode will challenge and encourage you. The same God who exposes also renews. Listen now and invite the Holy Spirit to sanctify your imagination and reshape your desires from the inside out.
