After the loss of Julia's Father due to alcohol-induced injuries. Julia quickly realized her marriage could not support grief or loss. With a husband who was violent and volatile, Julia found herself feeling totally lost and unsure of which way to turn. After an unforgivable act committed by Julia's husband, Julia decided enough was enough. She left her dangerous marriage and set off as a single mother to heal. It is here that Julia really leaned into her faith. She knew she could find safety with God and that he would be the man to never let her down. By evolving in her faith and her belief in herself she has completely turned her story around and is now helping women from everywhere to heal and choose themselves through her music and her on-stage speaking.
