A Journey South

This week the Vinyl Tap journey takes us to the deep south. Its 1970 and the new decade opened with a new sound.  The Allman Brothers rocked onto the music scene with a guitar-driven band that drew its influence from rock and roll, country and southern blues. More and more bands began to fill the airwaves with what we know as southern rock and the playlist this week includes some of the best… Lynyrd Skynrd, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, ZZ Top, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, BTO and more.
