I wast trying to apply love to parts of myself that I hadn't yet fully accepted as being part of me. Realizing for myself that acceptance had to come first... As a result of accepting fully those parts of myself from within that I had blocked or banished to the shadows, the emotion of love was able to flow to and through me as a result.
