A Kabbalistic Tu B'Shvat Seder from Tzfat- Featuring Eliyahu Pereira (of Two Chassids in a Pod)

Tu B'Shvat, the 15th of Shevat on the Jewish calendar is called the “new year” for trees as this day marks the season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle. There is much Kabbalistic literature about the deeper essence of Tu B'Shvat and the lessons we learn and apply to ourselves.  Originally from Miami, Eliyahu Pereira was an adventurous teen who came to Israel over 12 years ago. He has served in the IDF, went to learn in Yeshiva, got connected and inspired by some of the great mystics of Israel, and has now begun to build a family in the holy city of Tzfat.
