November 13, 2024 Daily Devotion: "A Legacy of Faith" Deuteronomy 6:6-7 New International Version 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. The people of Judah were exiled because they failed to keep their promises to God and started worshiping other gods. But this didn’t mean everyone was unfaithful. Even while most who claimed to be God’s people had turned away, there was a small remnant of people who remained faithful to God. We, too, have decisions to make about how we are going to live. We must choose whether we are going to listen to God or choose our own way. What does living faithfully look like where you are? How can you begin to not only train yourself in godliness but also in those around you who are younger?
