A Legal Career in the Royal Navy

The process for becoming a lawyer in the Royal Navy is unique. Distinct from the other military services, even if a student is qualified, they must first serve in a core naval role before they can go through legal selection.In this episode, Ellie is joined by Piers Benton. A Royal Navy Logistics Officer, Piers is currently studying the Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in order to become a Naval Barrister. Piers details his unique journey into the legal world to date, offering advice on the application processes throughout.
