A Legend of Montrose Chapter XIV

In which the resourceful Captain Dalgetty escapes captivity through secret passages and encounters a minister whose piety and politeness belie his former acquaintance, before setting out under the guidance of the wild but loyal Children of the Mist through perilous mountain passes.
