A LESSON FROM A DRUNKARD

Acts 2:4 (KJV)And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Have you ever seen a drunkard go about his day? He may see a rubbish pile and happily sink into it thinking it’s a bed, or push a man in a wheelchair expecting him to run. While we don't condone drunkenness, there’s a lesson to learn here.(Ephesians 5:18) says, “...be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” There’s a reason Scripture draws this comparison. A drunkard doesn't see like others do. He's not in control of his actions; the alcohol is. Likewise, when you're filled with the Spirit, you're under His influence. You surrender control of your life to Him, and He begins to lead. You start to see differently, speak with power, and declare supernatural miracles that surely manifest.
