Joining the conversation are celebrated theater artists Jocelyn Bioh and Whitney White, both Tony-nominated creators whose work continues to shape contemporary American theatre on Broadway and beyond. Liberation follows six women who gather in 1970 to form a consciousness-raising group in suburban Ohio, determined to change their lives and the world around them. Fifty years later, one of their daughters looks back to understand what happened to their ideals.
