A Life on Automatic

Have you ever seen one of those toys that moves on its own?  A dog on a leash that walks.  A train set with lights and crossing signals.  A doll that would say hi to you.  These toys seem to be alive, but we know they are on automatic.  Does your life ever feel the same way?
