A lifetime of Competition with Leonie & Makayla

We are joined this week by sisters Leonie & Makayla Gerken Schofield who recently represented Team GB in the Beijing Winter Olympics. Both still in their early 20s they started Mogul skiing before they were 10 years old & have travelled the world competing - culminating in the highest possible level of competition for any athlete or sportsperson, the Olympics. We discuss training & the discipline required. The technicalities of their event along with the numerous serious injuries both have had to overcome - physically & mentally. Through hearing their story there is much to take on board & learn from even for the everyday person looking to improve & get better at managing their daily health & fitness.
