A Light in the Flame

In episode 52, Bethany and Melissa are talking about A Light in the Flame, the second book in the Flesh and Fire series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The book picks up exactly where we left off in A Shadow in the Ember and has given us just as many questions as answers around the prophecy, and Sera and Poppy's fate. Sera's journey, while parallel to Poppy's own path to self-assurance and power, is so distinctly and beautifully her own that it feels impossible not to love her. Her relationship with Nyktos becomes a space for her to explore her own wants and needs without the threat of death. And of course, through all of that healing, JLA gave us some of the best sex scenes we could have asked for! Join us to speculate wildly about where Sera and Nyktos' story is headed, and what this all means for the prophecy and the fate of their world.
