A Little Sin Never Stays Little | The Pebble in Your Shoe
from Faith and Victory Church Auburn Sermons · host Faith and Victory Church
Sin rarely begins with something dramatic. It often starts like a tiny pebble in your shoe—small, irritating, and easy to ignore. In this message from Genesis 19:30–38, Lot’s family shows how tolerated compromise can grow into bondage and generational consequences. Lot slowly moved toward Sodom, remained there despite its wickedness, and allowed its influence to shape his household. Even after the family escaped geographically, Sodom remained in their hearts. The choices of Lot’s daughters reveal how sin mixes truth with deception, justifies itself, and produces consequences far beyond the original moment. What we allow affects more than ourselves. It can damage our families, distort our spiritual walk, and influence generations. But the message does not end without hope. God remains patient and offers repentance, restoration, and redemption. Even the broken history of Moab was touched by grace through Ruth, who became part of the family line of Jesus. Recognize the pebble. Stop ignoring it. Ask God to remove it and restore the way you walk. Website: https://faithandvictory.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@FaithandVictoryChurch
