A little something I’ve learned #3:

from Discovering Thyself · host Discovering Thyself

This episode is also available as a blog post: https://imnotgoood21blog.wordpress.com/2022/11/24/a-little-something-ive-learned-3/ "The key to happiness can only be found in one place, and one place only; from within. The world may be falling apart if you only choose to view the world that way — if you choose to perceive with the lense of darkness, of negativity, then the world will only reveal itself as such to you. But if you choose to view the world as a canvas in which you can leave your impression of beauty…it becomes a whole lot brighter, it becomes lovely, happy, wonderful. The only place you may find comfort in knowing everything will be ok is in your own heart and mind, worldly objects can never produce the same lasting impression of happiness that you may find within yourself. Once you find peace there (in yourself), the world before you becomes your happy place. And from there your beauty casts a light over the darkness that plagues the world allowing others to see the light too; allowing happiness to exist as a whole. Everyone has it in them. It’s only a matter of finding that place within yourself that allows you to glisten in the dark abyss, that allows you to see the good in the world even when there’s so much bad. The thoughts you harbor are but a reflection of the world you choose to acknowledge, whether good or bad. So why not choose a happy world with ‘happy thoughts’?"
