The word "mouse" may engender fear, repulsion or even a sense of sweetness. Our different thinking and responses to cues from words and pictures etc are often associated to our past experiences and sometimes are simply irrational. We can neutralise a lot of our negative thinking by concentrating on Jesus and Goodness associated with Him. Yesterday we were encouraged to focus on what is honest, just, pure and lovely. Today we are further reminded to focus our thoughts on the fact that the Lord "goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged" (Deuteronomy 31:8).
