It's a long way to the top alright, especially when it's Mt Everest we are talking about. Today's guest, Rebecca Long ticked that one off her bucket list in mid 2023 after taking a break from her usual world of banking and finance. Rebecca's two-month expedition took place amidst what turns out to have been one of the deadliest seasons on the mountain.  As I spoke to Rebecca the enormity of what is faced by mountaineers on Everest all became very real for me.
