Indiana isn't the first nor the last to consider moves ostensibly designed to protect religious freedoms. But how to define those freedoms - and how to assure that the bills don't trample the freedoms of others - is a multi-faceted issue that incorporates the Constitution, LGBT rights, Citizens United, and past and pending lawsuits.
