A Loving Neighbour's Story (How He Became a Foster & Adopt Parent)

Phil grew up in a Christian home, and from a young age, was taught the importance of loving your neighbor and caring for the orphans. As he got older, Phil began to see how much need there was in the world for people to show love and compassion to those who were struggling. He felt called to do something to make a difference in the lives of others, and so he and his wife decided to start fostering children. They have since adopted a child of their own, and they continue to provide a loving home for children in need. In trusting and obeying, Phil has found that God has given him a unique opportunity to live out the commandment to love his neighbor, and changed his life as a result.ABOUT PHILPhil is from Liverpool, England. He has two birth children and one adopted child. He is a part-time school teacher and full-time adoption and fostering advocate. Phil loves to ride his bike everywhere, even if it means he has to carry it on his shoulder for a bit!
