A Lunar Eclipse
from Podfather's podcast · host Paul Harrington
On the evening of the 3rd march 2007 in the UK there was a complete lunar eclipse. It started at around 9.15pm. A Lunar Eclipse is when the Earth gets between Sun and the Moon causing the Earth's shadow to obscure the Moon. What you can't see from the video is the reddish glow that remains, as the Sun's rays still give a very slight reflection off the surface.
