Dan Hornsby Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. Do you know who this fellow is? No, he’s not a lunatic, as the title of this show might suggest. He’s singer, bandleader, composer and radio entertainer Dan Hornsby. You’ll hear him in three of those roles in the fourth segment of this week’s show. We’ll also be celebrating the birthday of John Burckhardt, as pianist and playing bells. In other segments, we’ll hear from some maniacs, get colorful and try to identify just what belongs to whom.
