A Magdalene Rose: Is it time for a Religious Balance in the Magdalene Story?

In this latest Podcast, I talk about the recent trend by Media, Religious Orders and Academics to argue that in the debate about Irish Magdalene issues, there needs to be a balance in that debate to highlight all the good works of those Orders. I examine that proposition against the backdrop of my own experience and of the very words of the Religious Orders. Can you introduce the concept of 'good works' into the narrative about the Magdalene Institutions? Is there a way to introduce a balance and if so, how can that be achieved? I highlight what needs to be done and offer a challenge to the Irish Religious Orders.
