A Magnificent Illusion

A song loosely based on my musical "career, I don't often base my lyrics on reality/personal experience but guess there are a few exceptions. I actually found this somewhat difficult to write. I went through 5 versions/edits. I did not pay special attention to rhyming at first, but gradually changed the lyrics until the rhyme scheme worked for me. Obviously I am not one for "free writing"; all my poems could be said to be "old fashioned"....
