When Jesus would have entered Martha's home, He would've entered with peace. That He entered and remained implies that Martha was a woman of peace, accepting His peace. But she quickly became distracted by tasks, producing striving, accusations, anxiety, and anger. As disciples, what we do, we do with Jesus and for Jesus. There's hope, though. God restored Martha, He didn't abandon her. He does the same for us.
