A Message of Hope and Self-love with Lisa Kohn

from Dare to be Authentic Podcast · host Mari Mitchell

Join me with guest Lisa Kohn talking about her memoir "To the Moon and Back: A Childhood Under the Influence."  Lisa's mother was a follower of the Unification Church, a cult headed by Rev. Sun Myung Moon. Growing up as a Moonie, Lisa strived to feel safe in an environment that was unsafe and unstable. Through her recovery journey she was able to learn to love herself and know that she has damage, but is not damaged. She was always hesitant to share her story and background with clients, but now that it's out in public, she easily shares it, and is able to be even more authentic and encourage her clients to be the same. Lisa is an accomplished leadership consultant, executive coach, author, and keynote speaker. Lisa's website: www.lisakohnwrites.com Lisa's consulting business: http://www.chatsworthconsulting.com/
