Clear Transcript: The Charlie James Show (Friday, Sept 4, 2026) – Hour 1, Segment 1 Charlie James: And welcome to the program on your Friday afternoon as we all get ready for Labor Day weekend. Well, we've all heard the Lindsay Clancy trial—and this really is coming as no surprise right now—Lindsay Clancy trial has ended up in a mistrial. And they're going to have a further hearing coming up, I'm... I'm not sure what the date is on that, but they're going to be... So, the lawyer did all of this, this wrangling because he wants... he wants her to be acquitted. Period. He doesn't want a mistrial, he wants her found innocent. And apparently, there were some other people on that jury that wanted her to be found innocent as well. But that didn't happen. There was one lone holdout. One lone holdout against 11 others. One man that stood there and said, "You know what? No. It's not right. No. It's not okay. No. It is not excusable to do what this woman did." Not only did she do it once, she did it three times. I was going to play a clip coming up here—I'm going to play you a little bit of it—but this is... this is Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer over on Fox News. I want you to listen to what he said, and I agree with him 100%. Dakota Meyer (audio clip): I just want to say, who cares how she's feeling? Nobody cares. Charlie James: He's exactly right. Nobody... Everybody's talking about, "Oh, oh, what is she... She, oh, she has to go through this again!" Good! I hope she does! I hope she's got to go through it again. You know who else has got to go through it again? The father. He's got to go through it again. The nation, we've got to go through it again. I don't care. I don't care if she has to go through it again. I'm glad she does have to go through it again. This woman murdered... And then, I was going to play the whole Dakota Meyer clip, but it gets... it gets pretty graphic. And I just thought it was a little too early in the show to do that. It gets a little graphic as to what happened in these killings. Now think about that. She not only killed a child, then she moved on and she killed the other child. Apparently, somewhere in there, there was a phone call. And then she killed the third child. Then she jumped out of the window. That is... that is pure evil. That is absolutely pure evil. And look, I don't care what the reason is. "Charlie, no way you can strangle three children methodically as they struggle to survive and then say, 'I didn't know what I was doing.'" I agree, you can't. You can't... You knew exact... You knew what you were doing after the first one! Right? You knew exactly what you were doing after the first one. And... and you moved on. So, you know what? I... I don't know who this juror is, but man, I hope this guy sleeps well tonight. I hope nobody finds out who he is, because he's going to have a huge crosshairs placed on him. I hope this guy is able to live his life in peace. And I hope he can... when his head hits that pillow tonight, I hope he's got a clear conscience. I'm pretty sure... I know I would. Standing up for... Who was standing... All these people that were... All these women that were online and these women at the... outside the courtroom and all these women that blah, blah, blah... Who is standing up for the victims?! This is really what all of this is about. Justice for who? The victims! Those kids! This is going to lead to something bigger. This is going to lead to something that women don't really... I'm going to predict, don't really want. And that's the fact, if now... if they go through postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, whatever it is, there is a very good precedent now, I believe, for those kids to be taken away until you get cleared by a court or a medical doctor or whatever. I think that is... I mean, these kids should never have been in her care and custody. Ever. With all of this stuff going on. She had... I mean, she had a lot of help. People are s ...
