A Moment To Pause: Easter Sunday, 5th April 2026

from A Moment to Pause - a short daily Christmas reflection · host The Oblates

Welcome to a Moment to Pause with Br Michael Moore OMI as we journey through Holy Week. Good morning and welcome to our morning prayer on this Easter Sunday morning. After the terrible events of Good Friday, the friends and followers of Jesus go to look for him. But the tomb is empty. Could the rumours be true? Has Jesus risen from the dead? One of them goes into the tomb. They saw and believed. On this Easter Sunday morning, may we to look for Jesus in her own daily lives and believing in the resurrection. May we also share this good news with all those we know and meet. We pray for our own intentions in silence. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Lord, having shared in your passion and suffering. May we also share in and experience the power of your resurrection. Thank you for praying for us this morning. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. #Easter #wordmadeflesh
