A Moment To Pause: Friday 30th January 2026 #dailypodcast #scripturepodcast

from A Moment to Pause - a short daily Christmas reflection · host The Oblates

Good morning and thank you for joining our Oblate short time to pause, reflect and pray together on Friday January 30th 2026 of Ordinary Time. Thanks to Br Michael Moore OMI for today’s reflection:  In the name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Good morning and welcome, and thank you for joining us for our morning prayer with the Oblate Family. Jesus says that the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of seeds, but when it grows, it is the biggest of trees. The kingdom of God begins with small, quiet and silent actions. We are all capable of doing wonderful things today, even if nobody sees or knows about them. What one small act will I do today that will make God's kingdom a reality. We offer our own intentions. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Lord, bless and encourage us today. Help us to do ordinary things extraordinarily well. Amen. Thank you for joining us for our morning prayer. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
