A Moment To Pause: Friday 31st July 2026

Welcome to A Moment to Pause. We join Br Michael Moore OMI from Colwyn Bay, Wales . In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen  Good morning and welcome to our moment to pause with the Oblate Family…   When Jesus appeared as the carpenter’s son, he was not what some people expected, nor liked, so they rejected him and walked away from. Often God is right in front us, hidden but very present. God is with us in small seemingly insignificant ways and in the people around us, who we will meet today, if only we really look. Today, Let us open our eyes and see Christ the carpenter in ordinary ways today.  We offer our own intentions today to the Lord as we pray  Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done  on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day  our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,  as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
