A Moment To Pause: Holy Saturday, 4th April 2026

from A Moment to Pause - a short daily Christmas reflection · host The Oblates

Welcome to a Moment to Pause with Br Michael Moore OMI as we journey through Holy Week. Good morning and welcome to our morning prayer this Easter Saturday morning. Our Lenten journey is almost over now and it's time to experience the resurrection. Where there was death, there is now life. Where there was doubt, there is now hope. And where there was darkness, there is now light. May we be living witnesses to the resurrection each day of our lives. We, the people who sat in darkness, have seen a great light. We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song. We pray for our own intentions in silence. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Lord, be with us today as we wait in joyful hope, as we prepare to celebrate and experience the power of your resurrection. Thank you for praying with us this morning. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. #Easter #Lent #HolyWeek #wordmadeflesh  ✔ Subscribe for daily prayer with the Oblate family. ✔ Comment your prayer intention. ✔ Share this with your parish, family, or prayer group.
