A Moment to Pause Podcast: Tuesday 27th January 2026

from A Moment to Pause - a short daily Christmas reflection · host The Oblates

Good morning and thank you for joining our Oblate short time to pause, reflect and pray together on Monday January 26th 2026 of Ordinary Time. Thanks to Br Michael Moore OMI for today's reflection:  In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Good morning and welcome, and thank you for joining us for our morning prayer with the oblate family The gospel today Jesus has told his family, including his mother is looking for them. And Jesus asks, "but who is my mother, my brothers and sisters?" His answer is both simple and challenging. Anyone who does the will of God is a member of his family. Today we are called not only to hear the Word of God and pray, but we are also called to put our prayer into concrete action through how we live our daily lives with each other. We now offer our own intentions.   Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Lord, give us the strength this day to hear your word and live it through what we say, what we do, and how we treat others. Amen. Thank you for joining us for our morning prayer. In the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
