A new biopic on Shirley Chisolm fills in the picture on a woman who broke barriers

Shirley Chisholm made history in 1968 as the first Black woman ever elected to Congress. Four years later, the New York representative made history again when she ran for the Democratic presidential nomination, the first woman and the first African American to do so.
