A New Captain on the Beat
from Montgomery Talks with Doug Tallman Hosted by Montgomery Community Media
Capt. Sonia Pruitt, the first African-American woman to reach that rank, has the job of overseeing the force’s interactions with the community. She says she’s up to the job even though people of color have expressed their distrust of the county police. Pruitt talks about that and more on Montgomery Talks. #MontgomeryTalks Available now on MyMCMedia, Overcast, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, RadioPublic, Spotify and Stitcher, TuneIn, Facebook, Pocketcasts and Twitter.
