A New Commandment? Love like Jesus.

Jay speaker shares personal updates, including work and family life, before delving into a discussion about a new commandment given by Jesus. He reflects on the significance of this commandment, the dynamics among the disciples, and the transformative nature of love by Jesus. The conversation emphasizes the importance of understanding biblical teachings in a contemporary context and the challenges of community and personal growth within faith. Jay explores the profound implications of Jesus' new commandment to love one another as He loves us. This love transcends social hierarchies and demands self-humiliation and sacrifice for the sake of others. The discussion emphasizes the importance of speaking truth, taking risks, and engaging with communities, particularly those marginalized or deemed 'other.' There are calls for a return to agape love, which is a practice of unconditional love that challenges societal norms and encourages believers to embody this love in their interactions with others. revolutionchurch.com instagram.com/revolutionchurch94 x.com/Revolution_199 www.youtube.com/@RevolutionBroadcasting https://www.paypal.com/donate/?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=7FXFBB8PSWEEC&source=url Hosted on Acast.
