A New Day For Those Who Are In Christ

Romans 8 opens with one of the most liberating truths in all of Scripture: there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Justification is a legal declaration from God that you are not guilty, not because of your performance, but because of the righteousness of Jesus credited to your account. Through substitution, Jesus took your sin and gave you His righteousness in return. Because of this, you now have a new life to live, a new power to live by, and a new family to belong to. The Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you, actively working to transform you from the inside out. You are not a finished product, and God is not finished with you. No guilt, no shame, and no past failure has the final word over your life.
