Even though Moses and God spoke face to face like friends—for decades—Moses didn’t get special treatment. No unique arrangement. No grandfatherly ‘wink’ and pretend it didn’t happen. God is holy. He is righteous. And, like Brian mentioned a few weeks ago, we must not lose the majesty of God because we’re so familiar with Him: The Big Guy, the Man Upstairs, my buddy, Jesus. Friends, obedience is not optional.
