A New Life Sciences Podcast - Life Sciences Today Podcast Episode 1

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Life Sciences Today Podcast by Healthcare IT Today.  We’ve been thinking about getting into the world of Life Sciences for a long time.  The overlap between the topics we cover for hospitals, health systems, ambulatory practices, LTPAC, etc and the world of Life Sciences is becoming more and more.  We often use the same terms like digital health and patient engagement.  Plus, Life Sciences needs and wants the real world data that provider organizations have in their systems.  Provider organizations need the innovations life sciences provides their patients. The key for Healthcare IT Today to dive into life sciences was finding someone who knew the life sciences space better than we did.  I’m not quite sure how the social media cosmos brought Danny Lieberman and myself together on LinkedIn, but suffice it to say that I was impressed with his work in the life sciences including his life sciences newsletter and he was interested in starting a life sciences podcast like us.  A match made in heaven.  And thus the Life Sciences Today podcast was born. As was no surprise to me, we already have a long list of guests we want to have on the show.  We’ve started recording a number of epsiodes and we’re excited to bring you some great content from the world of life sciences and pharma.  Our current plan is to share one episode per week, but we won’t be surprised if this snowballs quickly into more epsiodes, articles, quotes, and other content.  Danny will be the main host of the podcast, but I’m sure Colin Hung and myself will dive in and host episodes as well.  We’re excited to see where this show will go and we’re open to innovating and changing over time.  However, you can expect the usual focus on highlighting the amazing innovations and innovaters in the life sciences space.
